Logo Design Brief
My 11 year old wants to make t shirts and hoodies himself, cause all that good stuff is expensive and made by poor people in Sri Lanka - I am paraphrasing for him:
He wants the brand/clothing to represent:
- Swag (I don't know what this means)
- Authentic
- Socially Responsible
- Urban (kind of like Deft Clothing)
- Falling Lava represents the feeling of falling and being chilled out but coming from a volcano it could 'bust it at anytime'
- Inspiration of coolness : 'Jonah from Tonga' and his mates from the ABC TV show
- Falling Lava is bright and electric and falls in a good way
- Falling Lava makes me feel cool when I wear it and more than that, it is a real thing not something you bought in the shop that everyone has and it doesn't look like Kmart
- Urban hoodies and t-shirts in neutral colours - the logo will be on whites, blacks, blues and reds so needs colour flexibility with those colours
- Falling Lava is the cool go to urban wear for tweens that is authentic and cheap that you can wear out to the park to skate, or out with your parents to the city
- Falling Lava should be instantly recogniseable as being 'FL' the same way someone knows the addidas symbol or the Rip Curl sign
He didn't say anything else - hope this is enough to go on....he did draw what I think was a volcano, with lava shooting out of it and falling like snow flakes.
