Business Card Design Brief

The Cafe name is "Stonehouse Cafe" and it is located at 321 Ringwood - Warrandyte Road, Warrandyte, Vic, Australia 3113 (To Google map location).
The café got its name from its unique heritage building, which is made out of stone. The inside of the premises contains wooden floorboards and glass windows. Both verandas are also made out of wood.
Every customer’s first reaction to the café is the same as the last “you have a beautiful spot/café”. The café provides amazing bush land scenery and native wild life birds with the Sulphur-crested cockatoo providing daily appearances.
The cafe has 3 dinning areas.
- Inside dinning area with an open fire place
- Open dinning area on side veranda with native wildlife birds and bush land scenery. This veranda also overlooks a specially designed bird eatery oval for wild life bird. Birdseed is provided daily by us.
- Back veranda dinning area with roll up blinds for summer that get rolled up creating an open dinning area and in winter it provides heating through ducted heating giving a warm ambiance within an enclosed dinning area and also provides bush land scenery.
The cafe is open 7 days a week from 8am - 5pm and provides a modern cuisine menu with all day breakfast, a lunch menu and all day morning and afternoon tea.
The main focus of sale in this cafe is coffee, food and morning & afternoon tea. Going forward in my business I plan to do a very big advertising campaign to increase my clientele and improve my daily cafe business sales.
I would also like to start promoting functions (during/outside trading hours), as this is an avenue of the business I would like to really pursue. We currently get a number of inquires for functions and the Stonehouse is a great location that people desire to celebrate their event.

Target Market(s)

Our major clientele during the week consists mainly of 55% female, 25% elderly and 20% male with 70% of them being regular clientele and 30% passing by traffic and tourists.
On weekends 60% of our clientele is families, 30% teenagers and young adults and 10% elderly with 40% being regular clientele and 60% tourists from the very heavy tourist clientele that Warrandyte attracts on weekends.
