Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new retail outlet selling coastal inspired home décor, jewellery and clothing. The business is called "Mermaid Coast" We are also establishing an online presence in the next 12 months.
Think Hamptons for the look of the shop - very tranquil, up market, beachy holiday feeling.
We would like blue/aqua tones.
Mermaids and a bit of sparkle welcome.
the final design should communicate a unique upmarket feel - a little quirky but refined.
