Logo Design Brief
Need a logo for a consultancy called “Corner Pizza Shop”. We believe it should be as quick and easy to get an extra set of eyes or pair of hands into your marketing department or creative agency, as it is to order a pizza. And that you should be able to 'order-in' whatever level of professional service you need for an hour, a day, a week or 3 months. Corner Pizza Shop provides experienced staff on short notice on a project basis. By the way, my surname is 'Corner' and I'm the principal consultant.
Important to note is that is it NOT a pizza shop. The pizza shop metaphor is a simple device to help people understand the offer (customised to your needs, fast and easy to order) and make it easy to remember.
The logo needs to reflect the high-end professional service provided by Corner Pizza Shop. It needs to feel accessible, dynamic and personal (like the service). The design needs to be simple and clean. As an FYI the background colour of printed material or web site will likely be white.
Updates
Many of the designs I've received have made a feature of the human element of the offer e.g. by featuring graphics that symbolise people. This is not important to me - it's the pizza metaphor that is important. So it would be great to see some designs in that area without the need to feature people. Thanks a lot. Requirements
Must have
- A logo suitable for use on letterhead, emails, website, merchandise like glass jars, fridge magnets, hats or t'shirts
- The theme must express the idea that you can order what you want, the way you want it. Fast.
- I need the logo and the graphic device in formats suitable for use in both physical print and digital art. So: jpg, pdf, png, ai, eps. I will also need HEX colour codes as well as PMS colours.
- I also need all versions to be in full colour as well as greyscale/black and white.
Nice to have
- Be good to see primary colour palette: red, white, green. (the colours of the Italian flag). This is our nod to the 'pizza' element. But it's not about being Italian (we are not).
Should not have
- No Pizza metaphors. No pizza graphics. We are not a pizza shop.
- Needs to be clean and high end professional - so no stringy cheese or sauce splatter or toppings for example.
- Appetite appeal not required!
