Logo Design Brief
My lab is an academic one at University of Arizona (and I could provide the copyrighted "A" as the capital for "And" in the name of the lab). I am advertising myself to folks who might want to participate in a research study. These would be community folks, and I think a looking glass (like Sherlock would carry) would be a great graphic in there.
