Logo Design Brief

"Intelligent Consulting Services" is a small IT Consultancy, which specialises in IT Security Consultancy. The company base is just outside London (Surrey), but we provide consultancy to clients across the UK. Our core market is the UK Government, and other companies which work into Government, but we also do bits and pieces of Private Sector work as well.

We are a small company (1 man band, with 2 company directors), but occasionally work in partnership with other similar small companies for bigger bits of work. We have been established for just over 4 years, and would like to try to grow the company. Part of our growth strategy is to develop a more professional company image, hence the requirement for a proper company logo.

Bigger companies operating in the same market include the likes of Detica, Vega, QinetiQ, Logica, etc but we don't want to emulate their style. We are looking for a logo which projects us as capable and intelligent, but also friendly at the same time. Something bold, a little bit quirky and clever, but not too cluttered. Don't have any particular colour preference, but should both be colourful and also work well if printed out in greyscale.
