eBook Cover Design Brief

"Schimmernde Schatten" (Shimmering shadows) is a novel classified by the author as fantasy/young adult fiction. It needs a front cover for an eBook. The task includes providing the cover with the English title, the cover with the German title, and just the "plain" cover without title.

The cover should show a girl (14, brown hair, jeans and top) from behind, standing in an upside down cathedral nave. She stands in the arched roof, looking up to where the floor of the cathedral should be. However, the floor is not shown on the cover (too high, outside of cover). The cathedral should have a side aisle on both sides, which are separated from the main nave by columns. Behind the columns, it can be black, so no need to show details in the side aisles. For a feeling of how the perspective should look, please refer to the picture "Reims Cathedral" and rotate it by 180 degrees. Please be aware though, that I don't want windows and the point of view should be from the arched roof, not from the floor of the cathedral. The dimensions of the cathedral must come across as awe-inspiring. Please include a few small doors throughout the cathedral walls. Two or three should be open and light should emmanate from them (colour up to you). You can use other lighting, but the source of the other light should not be shown.

Style-wise, I do like covers as attached (but much simpler as described above), but am open to other ideas. The character should NOT be photo-realistic but stylized (closer to graphic novel-style).
