Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my property development company. The key here is modern.

I focus on very contemporary design, doing residential renovations for resale, development of new properties, and occasionally design consulting.

I am looking for a very simple, minimalist icon-perhaps an outline or a collection of coloured blocks.

I want to convey a classic sense of shelter, but with a recognizably contemporary twist.

Take inspiration from these modern dollhouses, especially the Kaleidoscope Dollhouse, which is playful, elegant and noticably modern:

Avoid traditional symbols of shelter: picket fences, steep-pitched roofs, craftsman porches.

The design could be monochromatic or use a variety of colours.

While property development is traditionally masculine, most of my favourite colours are more feminine and cool: Aqua, lavender, rose, fuchsia, teal, silver, periwinkle, emerald, charcoal, turquoise, and lemon green (which is probably warm).

I would love to use one or some of these colours but am open to warmer colours as well (again, see the Kaleidscope House). I do NOT want the earthy colours of an autumn palette.
