Landing Page Design Brief

I need a landing page for a freeware software product. The product is called ‘Track Tamer’. Track Tamer is a small desktop software application that allows musicians to slow down mp3 audio tracks. The target market is guitarists who are learning guitar and want to slow a song down to learn parts of the song.

There currently is no ‘branding’ or logos for this product. You are free to come up with whatever you want as the only marketing collateral for this product will be the web site.

The site for the product will consist of a landing page, contact page and support page. This project is for just the landing page, but I would want something that I can easily use as a template for the contact and support page.

Landing page requirements:
- The landing page should have a clean, simple layout. Here is an example site that I like and would like to emulate to some degree:

- There should be a spot for headline on the page. I have several different headlines I will be trying.
- I have about 5 or 6 bullet points that describe the product and benefits. Those should be displayed on the landing page.
- There should be an area on the page that I can display product testimonials. I have many testimonials and would like to do something similar to how www.getdashboard.com handles their testimonials. I just need to know where the testimonials will be on the page and I will handle any coding to scroll through them.
- There should be a prominent button (like dashboard.com ) to download the product. The button should be set up so it is a background image that I can change the text on.
- A screenshot of the product should prominently appear on the landing page. The screenshot should be a clickable image that will display a video of the product in a popup window. I will handle the coding of the video and popup. All I need is a ‘play’ icon added to the screenshot image. A screenshot of the product is attached.

Deliverable:

- The deliverable for this project is a html coded page with css. All images/graphics will be included in web ready format. Basically, I’m looking for a page that I can make the content changes I need, add javascript/jquery code for interactiviy and put it out on the web.
