Task Description
I need a business card/letterhead logo for my new handyman service in my local area. I''d like it to be modern and not using the typical pictures of tools and cartoon characters in dungarees! I like the idea of tools but in a more modern way i.e subtle background images in different shades to main colour. I do like the american retro designs and those that show age and patina for example, having an image half old, half new in its appearance to represent the repairing of things. Colours in mind are 1950''s retro colours, ie using grey with pastel greens and cream. I''d like to break the mould and the stigma thats attached to these jobs and make it more cool and up to date. I hope this will attract interior designers and more modern businesses to use my services.

What do you want to be on the card? Phone numbers, emails, address, name? What is the company called?

The company name is Deft Repair and I'd like this on the front of the card with a design logo. I'm picturing a Matt grey card with Deft Repair in a retro framed font and the font being in a cream/pastel green gloss, so to the touch, it feels raised which makes it tactile and eye catching. On the back I'd like the same theme but with the strap line 'Handyman services from repair to install' with my name Philip Mills. my mobile number 07753 835708 and my website www.deftrepair.co.uk. I think cream gloss font/pastel green gloss font would look good on a grey matt card unless you can come up with a better retro colour scheme. I'd like the front to be kept minimal. I'd like the design to represent the transition of old to new like in repair.
