Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for Bayana Science, an editing company that provides copy-editing and in-depth review of scientific manuscripts (primary research) and grant editing. We also offer services to train graduate students and post-doctoral scholars in writing manuscripts, grant proposals, fellowship applications, theses, etc. Most of our client base is in the life sciences (biology and its various subfields, particularly biophysics and genetics), but we have a substantial number of clients in physics, chemistry, and engineering. The word "Bayana" is a play on an Arabic word that describes writing that is perfectly clear and perfectly compelling - the goal of our editing work. The final design should be straightforward, clean, instantly understandable, and linked to the sciences and/or writing.
