Poster Design Brief

Project Outline

Plymouth College is looking to commision a series of 6 posters to promote the International Baccalaureate(IB) to its existing students. The posters each need to have a different key benefit of the IB programme to its existing students.

The Issue that needs to be solved

The IB is seen by many students as being harder to complete than the A Level. This is not entirely true, there may be more work but the course is no more academically demanding that the A Level programme. We would liek a poster campaign to get students to think seriously about the IB programme as a useful alternative to Alevel.

Key message
The the course is new and different not harder with significant advantages. Humour needs to play an important part of the poster campaign due to the target market of the students.

Target Market
The age group of the students targeted will be current GCSE students so typically 15-16 years of age.
