Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for our holiday village located in the center of France.
We are currently building a network of holiday villages in France and our latest project is located about 100km from Paris. This holiday village will be called “L’Ile aux Pins” (Pines Island) and will be created in the heart of a large protected and unspoilt area. A swimming pool, a stable and +60 cottages will be implemented in this area.
We need a logo for this project that will be used on all our communications tools (website, booklet, etc.). We need a strong logo, easy to recognize, unique and still iconic. It has to look good when it’s small but also when it’s large. Also, we would like the logo to have a simple color scheme so we can later on make it “all-white” or “all-green” easily and it’s still looks good. So please, avoid using too much different colors.
The logo must give a feeling of nature, wilderness, still it must build confidence and give an impression of high standards. It has to please adults and children.
As there’s several animals on the area (particularly deers), we thought about using animals in our logo (as you can see in the examples attached). We would like to have an adult deer (looking up, proud and confident) and a fawn (playing around, etc.). The logo could also include trees or other natural elements. We also like the verticality of the trees in the background in the examples we've given.
We need the complete logo to embrace this “picture” and the text: “L’Ile aux Pins”.
Updates
Hello to all the designers who proposed us some logos.
First of all, we wanted to thank you all. Some design works really standed out. Here's a short update :
- I update a new picture in the project gallery. It's the cover pic of a movie "la planete verte". We like the impression it gives, the feeling of nature, the verticality of the trees so i wanted to share it you with for your inspiration.
- In french, island is written "île" and not "ile". So please try to include the accent on the "i" when possible.
- This holiday village will attract children, so we need the logo to fit well for this target. Do not hesitate to make your logo a bit childish, it could work well.
