Logo Design Brief

Release a Dove was founded in 1995 to re-instate into modern times the ancient custom of releasing White Doves at spiritual and special events. Release a Dove keeps a total of 200 White Doves at two separate locations flying freely every day from their dovecote. They possess homing instincts and are trained to return to their dovecote when released from distances of up to 250 kilometers away. At their dovecote they receive the best of care, food, fresh water, shelter and a safe place to raise their young. The birds fly all seasons and have served thousands of people at weddings, baptisms, funerals, memorials, and charity events.

Release a Dove is going through re-branding and revamping their website and all marketing materials. We are looking for a logo with a classy and modern look. The direction is towards a flowing line-drawing accompanied by text, or an abstract image of a dove.

Some of the color suggestions are silver/grey, white, light blue or a silver blue. Blue represents sky, and silver/white represent the birds.

The final design should communicate a beautiful fantasy, describing the service as a classy and luxurious addition to any event. Some words that come to mind: dreamy, elegant, inspiration, romantic simplicity, harmony...
