//Note: Please see the sample image I created and uploaded. This is pretty close to what I'm looking for - clean, simple, fun. I'm not a design expert, but hopefully this can be a guide to help channel your creativity.//
Before becoming President, Senator John F. Kennedy gave a speech in which he said that: “…America faces challenges greater than any which it has faced before. This is no time for complacency. This is no time to abandon the drive and the optimism and the imaginative creativity which has characterized this country since its birth. This is no time for timidity or doubt. This is a time for boldness and energy.”
It’s with that spirit that I named my social good communication shop of one: Boldness and Energy. I solely focus on helping nonprofits, foundations and other do-gooders (which run the gambit from environmental causes to education issues to LGBTQ rights) to do what they do better. I provide a range of service, primarily focused on strategy around communication and messaging.
I’m looking for a visual identity for my company - something that embodies the name “Boldness and Energy” and is centered around a hybrid of the brand archetypes of the Creator (someone whose goal is to give form to a vision) and the Magician (someone whose goals is to make dreams come true).
I think the best way to describe what I want my logo to convey is the feeling you get when you are struck by a great idea - all the excitement and energy you feel that makes you jump into action. I would also very much be open to the logo being a word mark.
For colors, I love lots of contrasts, like bright neon green and gray, hot pink and black, etc. It will need to be a vector based image that can be used on my website, proposals, printed materials, etc.
For font preference, I want something rounded, modern and clean. I think any of these style fonts would be great: Century Gothic, Seravek, Gill Sans, Lucida Grande, New Peninim MT
Name: Boldness and Energy
Tagline: BE great. Do good. (the BE is derived from the B in boldness and the E in energy)
Updates
Hi there - I just uploaded a sample image I put together that is close to what I'm looking for when it comes to a logo. I'm not a design expert, but hopefully it helps channel your design creativity.
Thanks!
