Logo Design Brief
We need to create a new brand called “Newcastle Coffee School” which is a coffee school we are currently running at Sprocket Roasters (our parent company) but are now moving to a new, separate location so we want it to have it’s own identity. Sprocket Roasters will be ‘supporting’ this new coffee school. We would like to create a visual link to the Sprocket Roasters logo as it will be used in joint advertising initiatives.
Our current website is this: http://www.sprocketroasters.com.au (but we are in the midst of a re-designing it/getting rid of Flash). I’ve also attached our current coffee cup logo that we are using to get a feel for our brand.
For the new “Newcastle Coffee School” logo, we’d like it to have “Supported by Sprocket Roasters” somewhere smaller on the logo/sign so there is an association between the two. [Maybe just the “Newcastle Coffee School” logo in a similar slanted box to our original Sprocket Logo, with “Supported by Sprocket Roasters” underneath?]
The font we use for our Sprocket Roasters logo is District Italic Light (I tried to upload the font file, but it wouldn’t work - can send it on in a separate Dropbox link). It might be good to use a similar font for the Newcastle Coffee School logo but we are open to other suggestions, too.
We are looking for a designer who we can work with going forward on other projects and can engage with directly in the future. Please feel free to contact me directly should you have any further questions or need additional info: chelsea@sprocketroasters.com.au
