Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my event planning business in New Orleans.

I plan, organize, and manage classy events with a personal touch. I meet with clients to determine their unique personality and style, then tailor a beautiful, fun event that their guests, clients, and sponsors never forget. I also do large fundraising events for nonprofits. I do NOT do weddings or small parties.

Requirements

Must have

• I'd like a design that combines a butterfly with a "party" image, such as a woman in a short black dress with butterfly wings. She could be holding an ink pen or a clipboard so she exudes professionalism in addition to the party spirit. She should look happy but not overly sexy. If she is in color, I prefer that she be blond. The butterfly should be colorful, preferably shades of green, purple, and yellow (these are New Orleanians' favorite colors!)
  If not a woman with butterfly wings, then I'd definitely like a butterfly and "something" that communicates the ideas of fun social events. Thanks!

Nice to have

• I'd like a vintage style for the woman's dress and hairstyle. Think "Mad Men." This is preferable to a modern look, since most of my clients are companies run by older men.

Should not have

• No balloons. (I don't do birthday parties or children's events.)
