Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for a new entity of an existing company. So the logo has to be in line with the previous logo(attached).
To put it simply we need to change the text 'group' to 'MED' (short for Mediterranean) in a graphically appealing way, adding background graphics behind the text is acceptable.
E-Tech design, build and install electrical systems for the superyacht industry. This is a high level, luxury industry, the logo should reflect that.
It is important that the logo shows a link to the yachting/electrical industry (and NOT the medical industry as the name could confuse)
