Brochure Design Brief
We need a brochure design for the Center For Neighborhood Leadership a community organizing training and a capacity building program. CNL currently has 2 programs, an apprenticeship program and a training course. We expect to add additional programs. The program is not aimed at young people, however the majority of the participants are under 30. The brochure is aimed at funders (foundations etc.) and potential participating organizations, rather than the actual apprenticeship or course participants. The purpose of the brochure is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the program. The design should communicate **vibrancy, success, growth, **a grassroots approach, learning, and personal development. The brochure should have space for data e.g. "xyz% of participants go on to do ABC", room for "where are they now" testimonials, 4-7 photos and a program overview.
Shape and Size:
- We are flexible about shape and size but we are imagining a tri-fold document
Size:
-Approximately 11.5 or 12 x 6 inches.
-Ideally the document would fold out to 18 x 12 if we choose the fold out model can you include some sort of notch out or design element to indicate that the document opens.
The attachment is only to show the fold layout we want (as a folding dummy). We don't want to reproduce this design look, only the way the brochure unfolds not any of the design elements or content. The layout we want is: trifold brochure to poster with 12 total panels.
Color:
Attached is our logo so you have an idea of the colors etc. we are looking for.

Target Market(s)
The brochure is aimed at funders (foundations etc.) and potential participating organizations, rather than the actual apprenticeship or course participants. Adults 30+.
While the readers will be interested in the youthful energy of the program participants, the brochure isn't aimed at young people.
