Logo Design Brief

We are a software company that has developed a mobile platform allowing businesses to send push notifications to their customers.

2 designs are needed:
1 square logo - that can scale for various platforms
1 logo that has the words Send Me Note - (sendmenote | SendMeNote)

We are looking for a unique shape for the logo using some variant of orange - gradients are acceptable.
The logo can't be too complicated since it will need to be consistent in any size from a browser thumbnail to a high density splash screen.
SVG | PSD | multiple sizes of the logo in PNG would be great.
Included is a rough sketch of a logo that is an S with a smooth edge and a rough edge in bright orange - we are not attached to this idea at all :)
It would be great if your design communicates motion or connection.

The chosen designer will have an opportunity to participate in future graphical and UX related projects.
