Logo Design Brief

We are an Ice Driving Academy located in Quebec (Canada) offering Ice driving programs on canadian lakes to drivers' experience ranges from none to semi-professional, coming mainly from Europe & Usa. We are the only academy like this in Canada, based on the same model as Lapland Ice Driving offer (http://www.lapland-ice-driving.com/)
The final design should communicate Canada / Racing / Ice ...
Idea of design for the Logo - a red stylized Maple Leaf (see image on attachement) inspiring a race track
Ice driving written in black and Canada in Red.
The font must inspire sophistication (we like Fraulein one for exemple).
By the way, we are opened to any suggestion.
