Logo Design Brief

Need a logo which can then be place on letterhead, business cards, etc.

My company is a health and clinical research consulting firm and I'm wanting to "brand" my company. The logo needs to express professionalism, but have some "edge" to it as well. Research is what makes everything move forward especially healthcare and I want my logo to communicate to this as well.

Suggested fonts for letterhead and business cards to complement the logo are also appreciated
