Here is some more information about World Vets’ program. You can also visit our website to learn more about us:
Veterinary Field-Service Programs address animal welfare issues, like street dog poisoning, pet overpopulation, and livestock health, in disadvantaged communities around the world. Volunteer veterinary teams deliver medical evaluations, sterilization surgeries, veterinary treatment, and welfare education in an effort to enhance the lives of people and animals and to prevent the spread of diseases.
Disaster Response Program delivers assistance during major catastrophes by providing shelter, food, or medical treatments for animals, and by supporting animal-welfare groups in affected areas.
Veterinary Supply Donation Program distributes veterinary medicines, equipment, pet supplies, and textbooks to different groups and individuals around the world that are working to help animals and improve their communities.
Navy Mission Programs are carried out through two initiatives entitled Pacific Partnership and Continuing Promise. These missions provide medical, dental and veterinary coverage to the South Pacific/South East Asian nations and Latin America/Caribbean, respectively. For the past five years, World Vets has sent highly qualified teams of veterinary volunteers on board these missions to work alongside US Army veterinary personnel and local host participants.
