Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our new educational business. We run courses for teachers and are linked with universities hosting international lecturers around Australia. We would like to see in the design an owl, with earthy colours and a strong Australian aboriginal aesthetic. It must say 'Erudio Education Pty Ltd' in it. Our by-line is ' teach . educate . inspire '. The final design should communicate a fresh approach to education through ancient symbols e.g. Athenian Greek owl translated to Australian aboriginal aesthetics.

The logo submissions so far have not considered the Aboriginal aesthetic we require. We are just confirming that this is paramount.
This is more what we are looking for.

A strong Aboriginal Australian aesthetic is most important - please see the previous message with an example of an Aboriginal owl. This is almost exactly what we want.

Dear Designers,

We have uploaded signature panels as file attachments in our brief. We understand that it is difficult to understand what we are after and appreciate what you have done to date. We hope that the signature panels are a strong reference to what we want. In fact please do your best to look at the style of Aboriginal Art in this and mimic it as much as possible. The painting below comes up if you look in Wikipedia under 'Aboriginal Owl' or under 'Australian Museum'. We are keen to complete and want to be as helpful as possible, so please do not hesitate to include us in the process by asking questions too. Thank you and good luck.
