Logo Design Brief
I have created a new website specified about Zagato editions of Aston Martin. The goal of the website is to show everything about all Aston Martin Zagato cars: news, photos, for sale offered Zagato’s, history & specs of each Zagato car, collectors’ items and some more. It is partly an information center and partly news media center.
The logo that is visible on the new website is designed by myself. I am not a good graphic designer and so I want to give everyone the opportunity to design a nicer logo.
Currently the new website is in development and is not official launched. This is the link of the new website: www.astonmartinzagato.net/new (keep in mind that www.astonmartinzagato.net is the old version). When the new website is finished, the old website will be replaced by the new website.
Tips/ideas/inspiration:
- Modern style
- AMZ (abbreviation of Aston Martin Zagato) is allowable. But prefer to keep the text Aston Martin Zagato.
- Keep the colours of the new website in mind: red & black. Orange is allowable.
- Special effects is allowable (gloss effect or other effects)
- Only V12 Zagato or/and DB4GT Zagato or element(s) of one of these both cars may serve as inspiration for the lines. Fantasy cars are not allowable.
- Don’t make the logo very wide/long
- It is not allowable to use the original logo's (or part of) of Aston Martin or Zagato in the new logo
- White background is the priority
- Abstract and creative
- Car silhoutte (abstract design lines) of V12 Zagato or DB4 GT Zagato. Very important for associate with the theme about Aston Martin Zagato.
- Most important detail: the new logo should match perfectly on the new website!! Do not change the lay-out of the website, you need to design the logo that suit the website perfectly!

I have changed some things in my logo contest description:
- Two new images added (no. 30 and no. 40). This is a logo of LucidPress.
- I have filled in the empty fields (Must have priorities, nice to have priorities, should not have)
- Bonuspoints for designs like the logo of LucidPress (logo in a square space, so I can always place the text in different positions. This is ideal for mobile version of my website.).
I know it is not an easy project, but I hope these changes have given you a better idea.

Dear all designers,
I have added two extra images in the design contest description (images 200.png and 300.png).
These images are examples how important it is to match the logo with the lay-out of the website. Please therefore it is desirable to keep this in mind when you are working on a logo design.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I have extended this contest by 10 days. There are some beautiful logo's designed, but every day I wonder or one of the designs is good enough to suit the new website. I have not made a final choice, so I need more time.
