Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my business. I want a Colorful, in style logo that I can use to brand my business.

I am an educational consultant. www.dedrastafford.com . I want a logo that has my NAME and then in sub print it has Educational Consultant, Author, Keynote Speaker. I need the colors to compliment a deep red so it can go on my banner that I already have. I am in the education field, so it needs some pop to it... but I DONT WANT CHEEZY apples and school houses. I have collected a few logos I like to help you get an idea.

This logo will be my NEW look. I don't want it to match my current website, I don't want to use the same tired fonts, I want something new and fresh. It will need to be able to be placed on my current banner with my picture (www.dedrastafford.com) because I don't want to remake the picture.... so the colors need to compliment the RED in my outfit.. but it doesn't have to BE red. I hope to use this logo on EVERYTHING so it will need to be versatile. I would like fresh fonts, and a graphic. I don't just want my name with a bold line under it. This will be a BRANDING of sorts.
Thank you for your investment and attention on this one logo.. if I can find someone who "gets" my style, there will be more things I will need designed.
