Logo Design Brief

The pictures on our jigsaw puzzles are high quality, professional photographic images. The puzzles have 1000 pieces and are made in the UK from sustainable board. Descriptive words for our puzzles: unique, original, quirky, design-led, quality, beautifully packaged, contemporary, cool and non-traditional images (no chocolate box thatched cottages or cute kittens). They are for grown-ups, not children (so the logo must not suggest toys), aiming for affluent ABCs, most likely to be females although the design should not put men off. The logo will be used on packaging, labels, on a poster showing customers what the finished puzzle will look like and on our website. Because of the packaging, a logo which is horizontal may work better than a 'box' design.
