This is a whimsical Young Adult book about a moose in Africa who encounters a memorable cast of characters from around the world including a pirated cruise ship passenger, an African boy, a helicopter pilot, and more who want to help him escape a ruthless multi-millionaire hunter who is hellbent on killing him (the moose).
The name of the book is THE GELATIN COAST
the subtitle is A NOVEL OF MISADVENTURE
(that's a play on the name of the Skeleton Coast where the book takes place)
the author is Doug Sacrison
