Logo Design Brief

Dun Wurkyn is the name of our old duck hunting lodge on the Chesapeake Bay. This is was the place people went to hunt water fowl. Lancaster Brewing Company will be brewing this beer. The West Reading Tavern owns the trademark rights to the name Dun Wurkyn and will own the rights to the logo being made.
Things that will help you build the logo
- Official Hunters Beer
- Visit www.westreadingtavern.com and check out the beer list. Dun Wurkyn is at the top of the beer list. As of now the Dun Wurkyn Lager is only being sold at the West Reading Tavern and Lancaster Brewing Company brews it just for us.
- Different color combonations
-The logo will be on a silver can and sold wholesale throughout eastern Pennsylvania. Production will start with 8,000 cases. This beer will also be entered in the Great American Beer Fest.
- Ideas behind the logo - shotgun, ducks, marshland was referred to as wild country,duck blinds, old wood decoys and the sunset. The logo doesn't have to have all or any of these ideas that I mentioned. We are just looking for a hip logo!
- I attached a picture of the old logo design made for us back in 2000. The only thing we like on the old logo is the font used for the Dun Wurkyn spelling.
