Logo Design Brief

We need a logo that can be used on our letterhead, website, business cards, and marketing materials. Company is a new Law and Mediation firm providing mediation, collaborative, and litigation services to the community of Elk Grove, CA and surrounding areas. Our focus is on helping families navigate through uncertain and difficult times of separation, divorce, custody changes and the like. We aim to keep our client's private matters out of court, if possible. Our tag line will be "Family Matters" because of it's dual meaning. If you can find a professional way to incorporate that into the logo, that would be great. If not, it can be a subtext. Letterhead and business cards will be heavy-stock light white in color, prefer a grey/blue color for the logo and lettering.
