Logo Design Brief
We are a doggy day care in east yorkshire. We are taking over from a creche with a poor reputation and want something that will make us stand out (and away from them!). We offer day care facilites for all breeds of dogs as well as training and dog walking. We also own an online dog boutique so if the logo could offer something that could be adapted for that too we'd be happy.
You can see our boutique logo at www.facebook.com/tdhboutiqueuk - if someone could make that more unique and applicable to the creche that would be great! We like simple yet eye catching. (old paw pad logo attached - current shop logo also attached for ideas)
We want a logo that looks professional and original - we don't mind cartoony - styles but as long as they don't look childish! Current logo is a cartoon dog (spainel type) with its tongue hanging out - so avoid that! We want to suggest that dogs will have an amazing time, be happy and enjoy being 'in the dog house'
We are a family business and would love to include our own dogs on there some how - we can provide pics if needed, but we have a German Shepherd, Dobermann, Black greyhound and a semi long haired yorkshire terrier - all pretty standard looking (I was thinking they could be running over the top of the logo or something similar)

i've added two photos which might help - the first is paw pad - the current logo and old name, we want to stay away from that please! the second is our shop logo - if you can use that as inspiration it would be great, obviously don't want a copy but something that might tie in would be great. We are still open to other ideas we may not have thought of, and some great ones have come through so far - keep them coming!! :D

Hi all, thank you for the submissions so far, there are a few that are really catching our eye - but we are still hoping for something out of the box, that we may not have thought of - we want to stand out and draw attention!

Apologies to any that got rejected without feedback - my laptop is playing up!
Those that were rejected are too safe, too predicatable or too cartoony. We are open to ideas and some of the logos that have come through are great, please keep thinking outside the box!
