Logo Design Brief

We require a new logo for our aeromedical business in Australia.
We transport stable (non-acute) patients between hospitals using our fleet of specially outfitted fixed-wing aircraft (Piper Chieftains). We also have a small fleet of ambulances for road transport.
Wingaway has been operating for 12 years and has recently undergone ownership change. Our goal is to raise the standard of service and to modernise our processes and systems. We want our new logo to signify this change towards modernisation, and breaking away from the past.
Our main customers are public health institutions (hospitals) who have available to them a short list of service providers. Our motto is "your first choice", which may/may not feature in the logo. We want our customers to think of us as a safe, reliable, trustworthy, professional organisation and therefore becoming their "first choice".
Our corporate colours are currently red and dark blue however medical green is also associated with patient transport and therefore it can be an option for our new logo. A modern variation to the traditional green medical cross might be considered if done right.The opportunity exists to work with the successfull designer on other projects.
