Logo Design Brief

I'm a freelance videographer, director, editor, producer based in Toronto and I need a new logo for my site. My current logo is Mary Gerretsen Videographer. For my new logo I only want my name or just my initials. I was toying with the idea of my initials inside of a camera. Or a camera as the head of an illustrated woman. I'm open to ideas, colour and style. I would like it to be cool & edgy yet classic and simple. I've uploaded my old logo and some inspirational pics.
