Logo Design Brief

Club Name: MELBOURNE SUPER KINGS

We need a logo design that will be used for websites, caps and t-shirts. This logo must be attractive enough to stand alone without the wording of the club name.

MSK is a Melbourne based Sports Club which was formed in 2008 by a group of Friends who had the common interest of playing Cricket. Cricket is the main focus of this Club but recently we have expanded into Tennis and Golf.

Our vision is to make this as the No 1 community based Sports Club attracting people of all ages. But our immediate focus is to get more young cricketers in the age group of 18-25yrs who will be the future of this club.

** Since this is a social club for the community, we hope the logo is not aggressive, it has to be friendly and appealing.

** MELBOURNE SUPER KINGS (should be in the logo somewhere, this a main part of the logo.)

Requirements

Must have

• The Logo must be attractive enough to be presentable & appealing on clothing. Ie. T-shirts, and Caps. Since I do plan to put on shirts, I would want the logo to have very limited colours (Royal Blue, Black & Gold), I must be able to put it on a t-shirt with solid colour and not have the logo effected and distorted because the original had too many shades and colours. Please keep this in mind. Also please use original artwork (no clipart pls) & custom fonts.

Nice to have

• Something really cool, that will make people go hey that looks pretty awesome

• oo many colours in original designs
