Logo Design Brief

Logo for a new United States Youth Futsal League in Southern California. League name is SOCAL Futsal 5. The 5 in the title is inspired by the growth plan that will center in Orange County and expand north along the Interstate 5 Freeway. Therefore, the logo should be designed utilizing the interstate 5 sign. Do not want it to look flat so it should include some shading, light source or depth. (please see uploaded examples). Also open to alternative perspective or additional ideas.
