Logo Design Brief

Sister Bakes Limited is a new start up based in North West England. We are two sisters (a doctor and lawyer). We have decided to turn our life long love of baking into a business. We bake cup cakes, muffins, cake pops and other sweet treats such as fudge.

We need a logo to use on our website (yet to be created) and marketing materials such as flyers, business cards, packaging, tee shirts etc. We want the logo to use the Sister Bakes name. We do not have any fixed ideas as to the type face of the lettering.

We want the logo to communicate the nature of the business - so maybe featuring a cupcake design or a recognisable cooking utensil. The colours need to be muted pastels; pinks, duck egg blues, moss greens, pale citrus etc. a pallette which conveys warmth, country garden kitchen etc but with a modern twist. We like clean, unfussy designs.

We want the logo to convey that we produce high quality products.

We will be doing most of our business at food fairs so the logo needs to work on a large and small scale.
