Logo Design Brief
I am completely rebranding my company and changing it's name to 'Aitkens Media'. I need a strong logo to represent us. (we're currently sayersmedia.co.uk, please feel free to visit our current website - yes, we'll be changing this too in the future.)
I'll try to give you a flavour of what we do and what we're like:
We deliver 'word of mouth marketing' using all the latest social media networks and tools (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) We have clients in the UK, Europe and USA. We believe customer service is paramount to building a profitable business. We listen as much as we talk.
Our new logo should be fresh & clean - we're growing and we help our clients to grow - I like the idea of using organic materials in the design: trees, branches, light to convey what we do. I'm open to suggestions but whatever I choose to go with will be the foundation for the website, business cards etc.
I've always been rather traditional and conservative but I think now is the time to be modern, fun, quirky.
We're based in Oakham, Rutland, England - amidst beautiful countryside and Rutland Water is on our doorstep. We have a great love of helping others, respecting nature and using technology to run a fast growing business.
I'd like to see Aitkens with Media underneath other wise it'll be just a long line that won't be reusable in other situations i.e. profile pics. The initials 'A' & 'M' could be given added strength/weight possibly.
Words that describe what we do: engagement, chatter, feedback, customer service, sales, brand strengthening, analytics, creative, social ads, sociable, fun, humour, passionate, effervescent, thoughtful, laughter, experts, word of mouth marketing, Facebook, twitter, trending.
EXAMPLES ATTACHED: Please see the examples of styles I like - I've uploaded some images using negative space that I'd like to try. See what you can come up with :)

Requirements
Must have
- The logo must be easy to use in a variety of environments. Fresh colours. Fonts should be clear and modern.
Nice to have
- Needs to incorporate what we do in the logo or clever use of the words can make the logo.
- How about the words sitting in a tree/branches? Perhaps use negative space within an image to place our company name?
- Maybe a bird or other animal known for sociability/communication?
- Make it fun - use cartoon-type feel?
- What about using the word/s to make the logo like Virgin or Cocacola (2of the most famous brands)
Should not have
- Please don't just use abstract shapes that don't mean anything.
- No dull corporate logos
- Don't make it look like a boring IT company
- Please use Aitkens with Media underneath (Aitkens Media will probably be too long otherwise)
