Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new business called Competition Engine Designs. We work in the drag racing industry designing engines and light weight components. We build racing engines, advise racers on their engine tune-ups, component matching and supercharger set-up. In the near future we will be opening an engine machine shop featuring state of the art CNC machinery. We take components of a race car and design ways to take excess weight off. I guess to sum it up weather it's the engine or the car we MAKE RACE CARS GO FASTER....SPEED. Our colors are metallic copper and black. I have attached photo's of similar race cars, There will be no name on the race car, please ignore the name on the car. These are not our specific car in the photo, but this is what our car looks like (a 1941 Willys Pro Mod) .We are also a drag racing team. We race the 41 Willys Pro Mod. I loaded more pictures of the Willys side view to show the shape. If you google Race engine Company logo you can see the field we work in. We are open to any ideas with a fresh modern design logo with the company name that will work equally well on a business card or black shirt. Nature of the business is clothes get oil and grease on them so black is the uniform of choice.
