Logo Design Brief
I am looking for a logo that can be used on a business card, presentations and letterhead to communicate the kind of work I do. I don't currently have a company name and don't want to have to create a corporate or doing-business-as entity, so the logo doesn't need to have a name in it. My initials are GB, if you can/want to work that in somehow.
What do I do? Educate people in businesses and local government about the causes, impacts and risks of climate change, and try to influence them to take action. I am a consultant, and want to help them develop and implement both sustainability and climate adaptation (resiliency) strategies.
I would like to see some designs that use the infinity loop. I am also interested in any other images that communicate the concepts of sustainability and resilience.
Update: Climate adaptation is about dealing with and preparing for the physical impacts of climate change, like sea level rise, higher temperatures and more extreme weather events (snow, rain, intense cold, intense heat, drought). The actions one takes to be more prepared - reducing energy and water consumption, shoring up infrastructure) can also help one become more resilient to other bad events like earthquakes and fire.
Perhaps the idea of a chain, or a single link in a chain, would be a useful metaphor for resilience?

Mid-level to senior management at businesses with national or global suppliers and customers. These might include a chief executive or chief operating officer, chief financial officer, risk manager, product management leaders. It should also appeal to the people who offer executive management training courses and the people who take them.
