Logo Design Brief

We are a nonprofit organization that teaches 11-16 year olds about global humanitarian issues (Political, Environmental, Psychological, Health and Medicine, and Human Rights and Needs Issues) and teaches them to become activists by combining what they are passionate about and what they find to be interesting in the humanitarian community to their future careers. We inform them about what is going on around the world and foster them into vocal leaders of global causes.

We don't want to show children as things that "grow" per say. But more like things that are strong and capable and passionate and curious!

I want the logo to give an overall feeling of Curiosity, Enlightenment, Knowledge, Innovation, Creativity, Activism, but also Youth.

We want something that represents what we do in a creative and unique way. Feel free to move away from human figures and/or show humanitarian/activism using voice, hearts, the earth, megaphone. If you want to stick with humans in the logo, make it more real looking and almost like a child drew it. I'm thinking a child climbing on a ladder with a megaphone in hand or reaching up to grab something that represents activism. Something that represents the desire for kids to speak out loud about their beliefs.
If a human being is in the picture, make it a child that looks like it's been sketched by a kid. Example picture is attached. That is the type of drawing I'm talking about.

Another idea - incorporating Pangaea, how the Earth looked when all of the continents were combined, but in a very creative and youthful modern way, with the United States outlined. This is to give off the feeling of unity in helping around the world and claiming it as one instead of separate continents and people. But this is just one idea. We are open to many.
