Logo Design Brief

Business name is stuftadu...as in "stuff to do".
This is a start-up company based on a mobile app.

App is designed to provide up to the minute information about events going on around town in an organized/timely way so users can quickly and easily find fun things to do.

This app is not a business directory. The difference is that this app will provide users with what is going on this very minute along with upcoming events for the week/month/beyond.

Categories include:
Restaurants…bkfst/lunch/dinner specials
Bars…happy hours/specials/new products
Live music/Festivals/Sporting events/Movies/Nightlife/Shopping
Lodging/Arts/Family
*Initially will be launched in northern Michigan but could eventually grow to nationwide.

Preliminary thoughts:
Logo needs to look good on an mobile app. Also would be good if it fits well as an app icon once on the phone.
The name “stuftadu” may or may not be part of the logo. It may also be the only part of the logo. Use your creative judgment.
I picture the logo demonstrating fun/energy/color but it shouldn’t be too busy…in fact, simple is more important to me than showing fun/energy/color.
