Poster Design Brief
This is the inaugural OddToberfest, a fundraiser for the High Performance Rodeo (a cutting edge performing arts festival - we pride ourselves on sexy cheeky fun) in Calgary, Alberta. We have partnered with Village Brewery and we are doing our own odd twist on traditional Oktoberfest. Think sexy Tim Burtonesque meets lederhosen. There will be human disco balls, fabulous music (a gypsy folk cabaret band), some circus side show type entertainment and more.
Would love to see a buxom server - hoisting a beer stein - maybe she has one leg that has a chain saw - who knows the odder the better.
We would like the main graphic element to be able to be used on t-shirts for volunteers. And the ability to use the title independent of the poster as well. Both Village Brewery and the Rodeo - share corporate colours of red and black. The Rodeo also uses yellow.
This design will be used online as well as in a print version of 11X17.
