Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for Ski for Heat, which is a cross-country skiing and snowshoeing fundraiser that benefits families in need in Vermont with heating fuel assistance. We would like to see the logo integrate the sense or suggestion of skiing, Vermont (mountains) and heat/warmth, whether it be through manipulating/designing the words "Ski for Heat" or by using a graphic to convey the message and having the words "Ski for Heat" more simple. The overall feeling should be warm and welcoming-not edgy and fast.

Nice to have

• Ski tracks, suggestion of mountains & winter, suggestion of "warmth"
  
  Logo should be readable in gray-scale as well.

Should not have

• Please do not have logo be "cartoonish."
  IF a "skier" is incorporated, please have it be stylized.
  
  For the most part, I do not like strong, primary colors
