Logo Design Brief
We need a new logo for a greenhouse systems company based out of New England called Rimol Greenhouse Systems. They engineer, design and manufacture greenhouses for the commercial industry, nurseries, farmers, and the average home owner (hobbyist). Their biggest selling point is that they make strong/durable greenhouses that can withstand the harshest environments and weather conditions mother nature has to offer. Heavy snow loads in Alaska, high winds in the mid west, everything has trouble taking down a Rimol Greenhouse because of their design.
Their current colors are green and white but wouldn't mind the addition of a third color such as blue. All colors used should symbolize growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Logo should be reversible so it can be applied to both a light and dark background.
Text in logo can either be Rimol Greenhouses or Rimol Greenhouse Systems. The current logo uses Rimol Greenhouse Systems. Rimol is the keyword and should be at the top of the visual hierarchy.
An important component of this logo is that you incorporate a structure similar to the one used in the original logo provided. The structure can be different but not drastically different. The client is very connected to the current logo design so we have to be careful how much we alternate it. Although, a brand new structure might be refreshing for them. The structure should not sit next to the word Rimol it needs to be integrated into the logo. We do not want a significantly wide logo, we'd like to see it more of a square shape.
Font choice should be easily legible. The current logo uses a serif font which makes the smaller lettering "Greenhouse Systems" hard to read when used in small instances. Both serif and san-serif fonts are welcome, but the font needs to be clear. We lean more in the san-serif direction because we would like the font and structure "connect" and appear to be integrated or apart of one another. Using a san-serif font would give you right angles and smooth edges like the structure of the greenhouse. The font and greenhouse structure can be connected but be careful about making them too connected where the font might blend in to much and become hard to read.
We are going through this rebranded process not to change the image of Rimol completely but to upgrade/enhance the company image. Right now we feel the image appears outdated and very vintage. Rimol is actually very sophisticated and one of the industry leaders so the logo needs to convey that.
Updates
Please do not include leafs into your designs. Just focus on the structure.
Thanks
