I think you need to participate ie submit a design before asking for payment.

submit my 1st entry, other designs option are still in progress, glad that the time is extended. 

Hi Kim.  Invite me means you have to go to the artist''s profile and invite him/her to your project.  If you invite an artist (usually the top portfolio or artist of your choice), win or lose he/she still gets an assured participation payment.
