Logo Design Brief

We are in need of an incredibly awesome, strong, powerful and creative logo.

Our new clothing line 'Exalt Threads' is primarily targeted at male and female gym enthusiast/bodybuilders.

We'd like the logo to be intelligent in it's design, so by clever use of the letters and/or logo symbol, people will be able to easily recognise that the brand is 'Gym Wear' related

A design that has witty/humorous symbolism, relating to the gym and the word 'Exalt', would be ideal.

We'd like the samples of the logo to be presented on any of the following items;

- Muscle Shirts
- Sleeveless Hoodies
- Baseball Flexfit Hats
- Racerback Singlets
- Gym Short Shorts
- Female Leggings
- Female Sports Tops
- Business Cards

- Any other gym attire you seem fit for the purpose of demonstration.

The logo can be neutral in terms of being masculine or feminine, however we'd like to see two examples, one that's aimed more towards the female clothing and vice versa for the men's clothing.

The logo will be used on our website, business cards, all of our clothing and promotional products.

We have attached some examples of logos we find inspiring for their use of clever design.

The meaning/definition of EXALT is;

1. To raise in rank, honor, power, character, quality, etc.; elevate:
"He was exalted to the position of president."
2. To praise; extol:
"to exalt someone to the skies."
3. To stimulate, as the imagination:
"The lyrics of Shakespeare exalted the audience."
4. To lift up physically

One concept we like is, black clothing with either a Fluorescent Orange OR a Strong Red colour logo/symbol.
This is only one idea, we'd like to see what you can come up with as well!

On the final note, we will be looking to do future business with the winning designer, as we will need further concepts designed for our constantly evolving product line.

Our product is aimed at the serious and dedicated demographic of the industry, we market our products to the middle to upper range of the market, for those whom want reliable, simple, cool and trendy clothing.

Requirements

Must have

• Tough & Gritty FONT that Exudes Strength.
  MUST have a clever use of either letters or a symbol to depict the meaning of the brand or the word EXALT, people need to be able to recognise what our brand of clothing is for, i.e Fitness people and bodybuilders.

Should not have

• Generic or plain pictures/clipart.
  Anything cliché or cheap looking.
  Any standard 'run of the mill' fonts.
  Skinny or 'weak' appearance.
