Logo Design Brief

I am launching my personal website. It will have my CV and updates on what I am up to (business wise). I am a project manager and a mechanical engineer.

I need a logo of essentially my name.

I dont have a particular color preference, although I do like more brown, silver, khaki etc... Please also find attached in the pic below my signature (on the orange helmet) This could be a brilliant part of the logo.
