Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a redevelopment of our website, which will form the basis for our website design and colours. Our non-profit organisation's mission is to:

Together, bringing hope and a future
to transform lives in developing countries
by providing Christian education and training
that helps people break free from the poverty cycle

We currently have an education program and school (Prep-Gr12) in Mozambique, Africa which is the worlds 7th poorest nation. We have been developing the wording that is our core of WHY, HOW & WHAT we are. Our key words in BOLD are:

Why are we doing this: bringing HOPE and a FUTURE
How can we bring hope, because: LIVES ARE TRANSFORMED
What are we doing to make this happen: providing CHRISTIAN EDUCATION and TRAINING
That then fulfils our Why: to help BREAK THE POVERTY CYCLE

The following is based on our latest newsletter.

Mission Educate has been working for over a decade to bring a message of HOPE. The message is both clear and simple. Jesus makes the difference in the midst of oppression, poverty and ignorance. It is His truth that brings freedom. Yet it is evident that practical measures are needed for that truth to be known. How can people know the truth if they have no access to education? How can they know about God if they cannot read a Bible? How can they have a hope and future if they cannot break free from the poverty cycle.

Education is a proven strategy in assisting people to break free from the poverty cycle, but it cannot be without moral values. Education without moral values breeds corruption and corruption destroys rather than brings life. Our Christian school has been established to provide quality education that will enable our students to achieve vocational goals beyond subsistence survival. If you were to speak to our senior students, you would find that many of them are aspiring to become doctors, teachers, solicitors, law enforcement officers and accountants. They have a great desire not only to have a better life for themselves and their families, but they have a desire to see transformation in their nation.

Those supporting our educational program are not just assisting the development of education. They are planting seeds of HOPE.
Hope for individuals and hope for a nation. This is how transformation occurs, one life at a time.

To the designers, our current website was done with volunteer help. We have received some funding so that we can develop a website that meets our needs.
