I hadn''t considered 3D. I''ve just googled 3D logos to check what you mean and looked at your portfolio. I''m assuming you are implying the logo would have 3D qualities achieved by light and shadow. I''d certainly consider any options offered.

Update: it would be great to see some designs that manipulate the fingerprint image - creative line work or use of colour or a stylized minimalist graphic of a fingerprint.
