Illustration Design Brief

Hello! I own Dazzle Coffee & Smoothies in Pflugerville, Texas, USA (www.dazzlecoffee.com) and we are undergoing a branding upgrade for our store and website before we open store #2 later this year.

We are looking for a new cartoon/illustration mascot. He should be a male cowboy, with the following requirements:

- Full body image
- Must be either holding or lassoing (with a rope) a coffee cup (either ceramic or white paper) with the Dazzle Coffee & Smoothies logo (attached).
- Include the colors of light green and burgundy/dark red somewhere in the design, which match our coffee shop color scheme. A photo of our current store is attached for reference.
- His cowboy hat, belt buckle, and boots should be sparkly like a disco ball/mirror ball, or glittered. The color for all three (hat, buckle, boots) may be clear/white, light green, or burgundy/dark red.
- The Dazzle Coffee coffee-cup emblem should be somewhere in the design, either on his hat or in place of the cowboy's star on his vest. The emblem = the "D" on the company's logo; attached as the "Dazzle_icon.eps" file below.
- His face should be inspired by the actor Henry Cavill, who played Superman in the latest Superman movie, but please do not create an exact replica of Henry Cavill (we don't want a lawsuit). A photo of Henry Cavill is attached.
- Choose either blue or green eyes
- Do not include guns, please
- Facial hair: Choose either none (clean-shaven) or a light beard (scruffy). Do not include a full beard or mustache.
- The cowboy can have a bandanna around his neck if desired.
- He must have a cowboy vest
- The cowboy should be VERY handsome but family-friendly.
- His pants may either be blue jeans or cowboy chaps. Chaps are preferred. Please Google "cowboy chaps" if you need to see an example.
